I often wonder in frustration how our innate knowledge of food and growth has been [almost] lost over the last few generations. I am hopeless in the garden and trying to learn as best I can from books and asking around. I can tell you our vegie patch does not look like yours that's for sure!!! Caterpillars and slugs have reaped the benefits before we have been able to... :(

looking good Megan! I had a similar thought to you when my daughter expressed suprise upon starting casual work at woolies that many others were finding the identification of fruit and veg at the scanners difficult ...they just had no idea...so proud my girl does!Keep up the great work!

It's coming along so well, you must be very pleased. As for how growing food has become a mystery to many, I haven't lived in a place with a growing spot since I was a child (3rd floor flat no balcony, currently ground floor flat with very shaded balcony), but I still remember how it looks. Maybe other kids aren't that fortunate.
