Maddison: Also all about the chocolate cake. (If it's good enough for the big sister...)
These matchy-matchy girls of mine have been in party mode for weeks now - ever since Maddi's birthday a month ago, followed by Christmas followed by the main event (according to some!); Melli's 6th birthday party.
Me? After an epic weekend I'm ready to wind back the party energy and get into some holiday relaxing... but I am sifting through the rainbow party photos to select a few to bring you sometime this week - it was fun - and so colourful, which you can gather from these two photos.
Meanwhile, I'm joining in with Jodi's 52 project - a portrait a week of my kids for one year. I was hesitant about attempting another yearly photo project after having flaked on a 365 photo-a-day attempt just after Maddi was born... it all got too difficult with a new baby. But, here we are three years later and I reckon I can handle committing to one portrait of them a week, surely? It will be so good to look back on and have printed up. Thanks, Jodi, for such a lovely idea.

ummm tell me how ive never found your lovely blog before!!....I live in this little slice of heaven called the northern rivers as well. your little girls sure are sweet....love all the colour (and the dedication to chocolate!)
