Interviewing Julian Assange's Mother

As a journalist and a mother, this was not an easy piece to write, but I believe it's a story that deserves to be told.

Behind the Wikileaks headlines (and there are millions of them) is an Australian mother fighting for her son's life.

Here is the link to my profile of Christine Assange, the mother of Wikileaks editor-in-chief, Julian Assange:

To my readers, so many of you mothers yourselves, can we even begin to imagine what pressure this lady is under? Respect.

  1. Thank you so much for this thought-provoking article. Yes, the case is in the news but I hadn't spared time to think about his mother, not until now...thank you!

  2. Great article Megan. I wonder how it will all pan out. Either way the anxiety she must endure... I don't even want to imagine. I find it hard just dealing with the every-day kinds of worries...
